Altare della Patria and Tomb of the Unknown Soldier was huge and imposing. The view from atop it was also pretty impressive as it is one of the tallest buildings nearby.

It was pretty much constant freakout for the first couple of days and then at night nonstop horn honking until I left town.

Visiting various fountains in Rome. These marvels of ancient craftsmanship (and modern maintenance to keep them functioning and in one piece) are quite amazing.If I’m not mistaken, Cleopatra’s needle is also featured in one of the fountains.
